STYLE STATION
I had the opportunity to help out one of my fellow M.A.C.H team members on Saturday, Hair & Make-u Artist Ashleigh Turner. It was great to get involved with such a good cause, raising money for breast cancer care. I also made some great contacts with stylist Denise Mac from company Pink Dotty and Joy Clothing which I am looking forward to working with on their VIP event in November.

Bank Holiday Weekend
I'm sure by now most of you are in full swing of the bank holiday weekend celebrations! I passed a few, might I say looking a little worse for wear this afternoon around York! Its a cup of tea for me as I best be getting home to pack my kit for a commercial clothing Brand shoot tomorrow..... yes that's right work on bank holiday Monday! Hope you all have fun tonight and the heads aren't too sore in the morning!
Sam's wedding
Just finished packing my hair and make-up kit and cleaning my brushes in preperation for Sam Plummers big day tomorrow. Looking forward to spending the morning helping Sam and her party get ready. Can't wait to see her in the dress! As it looked amazing from the sneak preview xxx
Special effects
London was fab last week, I took part in a five day intense refresher course in special effects make-up. Loved it! Created some wicked stuff and met some fab girls.
Airbrush Make-up
So I'm down in London at present and just finished a course in airbrush make-up. My verdict is its fantastic! It gives fresh, even, radiant skin without looking as though your wearing any foundation. Now the tricky bit is its a complete different concept as far as make-up goes and so different to all my other training and experience. You have to train the eye in a new way, because as such you can't exactly see where the make-up is going and you stop when the skin looks great rather than where you can see you have worked and blended the make-up. Airbrush make-up is something I am deffinitely considering investing in for the future.
Summer Sizzler's
I am absolutely loving the bold lipstick look for this summer. Two of my favourites colours that can be found on the market are no 17 lasting fix Hot chilli as seen in the picture and pink power. They look fab with a golden sun kissed glow, I team it with Mac's mineralize skinfinish in shade soft and gentle to highlight and Gold Deposit for cheeks and bronzing skin up. The lasting fix lipstick really does stay put and very reasonable priced at around £4.29. This lipstick makes a statement by itself and looks very sexy with a slick of liquid liner. Less is more with this look, let your lips do the talking!
